Case Study: Red Foot Haulers
Result: Over $1 million CAD revenue from this simple sales funnel.
Red Foot Haulers was a brand new car and boat shipping service in Canada.
We needed to quickly create a lead generation system that worked!
I created a sales funnel to quickly generate leads via paid ads and organic content…
Follow-up with leads was automated via email follow-up sequences and retargeting ads.
The sales team would answer incoming phone calls to our 1-800 phone number 24/7.
Traffic: Google Ads
We needed to quickly generate traffic and validate the offer – I created a super-effective Google Ads Campaign that produced a profit right away!
We decided to use Google Ads and send them to a page to get a “Get A Quick Quote.”
Landing / Squeeze Page:
I wrote up a landing page that was designed to do ONE thing – Get prospects to leave their contact info and request a ‘Quick Transport Quote.’
The sales copy answered the most common questions and objections to hiring someone to ship their car.
The website was built with WordPress using free and paid software and tools.
Automated Sales Follow-Up
The sign-up form used a Zapier integration to automatically send leads into Hubspot CRM, where they would receive an automatic email follow-up sequence.
Usually we would need some more information to send a shipping quote.
We automated asking for this with an email sequence:

Eventually we hired a call center to have 24/7 phone coverage and never miss a possible sale.
(There are many affordable services for this, if you run any kind of business there’s no reason why you should be missing phone leads due to lack of coverage.)
Organic Traffic Strategy:
We wanted another source of quality leads besides paid ads.
Turns out, most car shipping companies provide nearly ZERO information about how the process works.
Customers therefore only shopped based on price, not on VALUE.
I created some super-informative content that allowed us to sell our services for higher prices (and value) than our competitors.
This resulted in ranking for lucrative keywords and brought in many organic leads after several months of the website being established.

After we had a proven way of attracting customers, it was simply a matter of doing more of what worked. We expanded our paid ads, created variations that targeted specific niches, and used different methods to follow-up.
